baby update

We had our 3 ultrasound and everything looks good with baby!! They thought the arms were short, my doc. though the legs were short, but after looking at the reports, everything looks good. We really won't know until the baby is here!! So until then, we just keep chugging along. :) And I keep saying, God won't give us anything we can't handle. I'm feeling really good, just super duper tired!! I nap almost everyday now, that I can. And we have such a busy week ahead of us. First working in grocery, this week and next are going to be busy for us, as customers get ready for the holidays. Saturday were going to my parents work for a Christmas party and to see Santa. And that evening were going to do zoo lights or PIR with Tony's family and brother and sister in law. Tuesday Aden has therapy and were decorating sugar cookies with my nieces and nephews. And then we have to get ready for Christmas. We don't ever do alot of gifts for Aden, because we want him to know the REAL meaning of Christmas. This year he is getting a tricycle, lunch box, water bottle, and cars from us. And then whatever else nana & papa, and grandma and grandpa get him. We try and keep it simple since it's such a hectic day for us. Going from our house, to great grandmas, to my parents. It's along day but so worth it. To be able to spend time with all our families. :)

ultrasound # 3

We went to Emmanuel for our third ultrasound, my last one showed that the femur bones weren't were they should be, growing wise. They did all the anatomy and did some extra pictures too. And we still didn't find out what it was!! For those that don't know, we want to keep it a surprise!! And the dr. came in and talked to us, everything looks okay, structurally except the arms. The head is measuring different and the arms aren't in accordance with that. They have an average that they go off of, and the head and the arms should be in somewhat of a same growth. Instead of having a 1 in 1000 chance of our baby having down syndrome, our chances are now 2 in 1000. Even though they did the blood draw and it came back negative. Our other option is to have an amniocentesis done, if we want to know for sure. And we both agreed, as long as the baby looks structurally good, then were okay with not doing it. And we both said, that God isn't going to give us anything we can't handle. And well Aden had a big head when he was born, so it could be that this baby is following in his big brother's footsteps. :)
Today was a busy day for us. We had our ultrasound this morning. And then we went into Estacada and got a permit and went up Hilllockburn to get our Christmas tree!! That was an adventure! We got almost to the top and we hit ice and snow, and decided to turn around. I'm not found of ice and Tony doesn't like driving in it or on it. And we ended up getting a "charlie brown" looking tree. :) And then after we got home, we meet my parents to get Aden some clothes for Christmas, there treat, that way he was getting what he needed. And we did some shopping and then we went to the mall to do some more Christmas shopping and to look for some shirts for our Christmas pictures. And we grabbed dinner on the way home, and came home and relaxed. Now I'm off to bed, because I'm exhausted!! Whew to much to do in one day. And tomorrow I have a doctor's appointment and then it's a lazy day!! :)

baby news

We had our ultrasound and everything looked good. The doctor called about 4 hours later and said he didn't see any birth defects, but (oh goodness I hate that word) the baby's femur bones aren't developing like they should, and there not as long as they need to be. So we could have a baby with short legs, but there sending us to Emanuel for another ultrasound and to have another doctor look at them. He said it was nothing to worry about, but a little part of me does. I will love the baby no matter what!! I'm just a bit of a worry wort. So we should know more after our ultrasound in December. :)

ultrasound

We had our ultrasound this morning. I love getting peeks at the baby, especially since we leave it a surprise. everything look good, they baby had a hold of the umbilical cord! The doctor called a few hours later and said he didn't see any birth defects and the baby looked good. Except the femur bones are smaller than he would like. There going to send them off to have another doctor look at them, and make sure he doesn't see anything else. For a second opinion. So were hoping nothing is wrong, and our baby will have short legs! :) So until then, we are keeping our thoughts positive and keeping up on prayers. And my due date is still April 13, 2011!! I've got 21 more weeks to go. I'm 19 weeks today!!

a weekend away

This past weekend, we had a girls weekend away. No kids no pets. The guys have had a few trips and gone hunting, and we haven't done anything, so we decided it was time. We rented a little house down in Lincoln City, it was near the bay. We had so much fun shopping, laughing, driving around, playing cards and etc. It was also relaxing not to be on a time frame or anything, just come and go as we pleased. While I was a away relaxing, Tony was at home with Aden trying to potty train. Trying. He went about 3 times and then wanted nothing to do with it. So we are taking a break, and then we will go back at it. I don't want him to be afraid of it, so he never wants to do it. But I also heard some boys aren't ready till there 3. I hope that's not the case, I really want him potty trained before we have the baby. I guess we need to be patient and it will happen when it happens. :) And as for me, I'm feeling way better, no more sickness!! :) I am working on gaining back all the weight that I lost. And were excited to have an ultrasound in November/December to have another sneak peak at the baby!! :) And were not finding the sex out. :)

abit of this and that

Tony went hunting, and had a good time, but no deer. :( His brother, Brad was the only one to get one this year. But it was great male bonding. I stayed home with Aden, and of course the day Tony leaves, Aden gets sick! So he's been fighting a cold for almost 2 weeks now. The doctor said keep doing what were doing, so that's cough meds, humidifier and baby's vicks rub. Aden also had his 2 year old check up and everything looks good! He's about 26 lbs!! And I can't remember the height, but he's moved up to the 25% for both!! :) I got my results back from our ultrasound and blood work, for the down syndrome test, and everything looks normal! Baby's growing and healthy, good heartbeat!! I'm so relieved we would keep the baby anyways, but it's so nice to hear the heartbeat and know my seizure meds are okay with pregnancy. I'm feeling great, the morning sickness has gone away, finally!! And now I'm just working on gaining the weight back that I lost. This weekend its a girls weekend, and were going to the beach. Renting a house, and it's no kids or pets!! It will be so nice to relax and get to sleep in past 730. :) And were just gonna go with the flow, no special plans or anything.
Today one year ago, on our way to the airport to leave for Maui, we got the phone call. My grandma had passed away. :( She fought her battle with cancer, and cancer won. :( That was the hardest vacation ever taken. I didn't know this but she wanted to donate her organs to other people. Well the cancer had taken over everything, almost. She was able to donate her eyes to someone else!! So part of her is still with us somewhere in this country! But her memories are always with us. I do miss the silly conversations and her love for shopping on QVC. Aden must have known it was a tough day, he grabbed the remote and turned it right to the qvc channel, so we watched that for a bit. :) It was totally odd that he knew that's what I needed and the channel. But I think someone helped him with that. :) RIP Grandma we love you and miss you!!

a long week....

Tony left Friday morning for hunting, for 9 days!! This is the longest and first time we've gone without daddy. Were doing good so far. Sunday and Monday, my mother in law stayed with us, and watched Aden while i worked. We did go and have a yummy dinner @ sweet tomatoes and came home and watched Dear John. :) And monday we had burger King and watched The Last song! Oh my goodness, I've never cried so much in my life, the movie was soooo good! I definatly recommend it. We visited my sister and the munchkins on Tuesday, and Wednesday we played outside when we came home, from work and after getting the boys. And today, Thursday, ah a lazy day. Did some laundry, went shopping. Can't do laundry with out soap! And had lunch with my parents @ there work, and came home and took a much needed nap!! I love nap time!! :) And tomarrow I'm sure will be a lazy day, and getting the rest of the house cleaned and picked up before daddy comes home on Saturday!! I'm so excited, I want daddy home for a little break!! Anyways that's the news of the week. Oh yeah and I"m 13 weeks and feeling good. The morning sickness is starting to go away, thank goodness. No one should ever have to visit the bathroom as much as I did!!

a new addition!!

Today we celebrated Aden's 2nd birthday, yes a little early, but this was the only day that worked for everyone! And he got to wear a shirt that says Big Brother. Yes we are expecting baby #2! April 13, 2011 is the due date!! And we just let people see and waited to see who got it first. Of course Papa was the first to notice!! :) So next year we will have a baby and in January my sister in law is due with a baby girl!! So our baby's will be super close and hopefully playmates! Everything looks good so far, we have an ultrasound in a few weeks, to check up and make sure everything is growing right and to have a down syndrome test done. They do the test if you want, but because of my seizure meds, its more typical to have it done and to check on the spine. :) Anyways just thought I'd update everyone with our good news!! :) Oh yeah, we are going to keep this baby a surprise, we don't want to know the sex. There's few surprises left in life and we want this to be one of them. :) That's our motto!!

updates....

It's been awhile...not much going on. Just work, work, work oh and i do have a family. It seems like all Tony and I do is work, and everyone else keeps aden. It's hard at times, that's for sure, but we are getting bills paid. :) And this month is super busy for us. Tony is gone this weekend for a car show in Long Beach with the guys. And then at the end of the month he's gone for 9 days to go hunting!! And we have Aden's birthday party too. And Winco is having a re grand opening since the remodel is almost done, so I'm going to be working extra hours, which I'm not use too. But it's all worth it. Aden's sick now, poor guy has a cold and has started coughing pretty bad. :( And on the good side he is talking so much more!! His speech therapist said he has "mad" motor skills, he's doing things a normal 2 year old shouldn't be doing! :) And she was impressed on all his new words and that he will copy a lot of what were teaching him. his colors, numbers, shapes. Although you can't really hear them, he's definitely trying! I can't believe he's almost 2!! I can remember everything from when he was born. From the reason we went to the hospital, to 8 hours later, out he came and blessed us!! I'm such a lucky and blessed mommy!!

Melting Pot :)

Tony and I decided to celebrate our anniversary a day early, since we both had the day off and a babysitter! :) All week we were just gonna ride the max, it would be easier, until we found out it takes 72 minutes!! So we map quested directions and wow, we had ourselves an adventure! We got confused ended up back across the bridge and eventually found our way back across and right into the Melting Pot parking garage! We met aunt Heather and she took Aden for us and they had a good time. We walked downtown for a bit before dinner. It was delicious we had fondue and I had steak, chicken and Tony had the seafood (Yucky). And he was impressed that he got to cook dinner still!! They were great to us and told us happy anniversary, our host and server!! We loved the cheese fondue with the apples! That was my favorite! Unfortunately we didn't have dessert, we were too stuffed. Although I told Tony we have to go back just for dessert. And have someone go with us. It was a nice evening with the love of my life! We even got to come home and relax before Aden got here.

On the other hand Chewy had his annual physical today, and he lost some weight, but no to much to be worried about. And he also has a blocked tear duct which we can fix with eye drops over the counter. Thank goodness, the vet told us if we did the dye and all that, that it would cost us an arm and a leg, so were better off doing over the counter eye drops. Whew!

blessed....

Lately I've been stressed and emotional since I've been working alot of night shifts, and by night I mean I don't get off till 10 pm or later, tomorrow it's midnight!! It's just hard having someone else watch Aden and put him to bed and kiss him goodnight. :( I know it's worth it, so I can work and help provide but it's tough. We signed up for this job, no one else did. And I know the family doesn't mind watching him, but it just tugs at my heart, all night. When my manager gets back from vacation I'm going to talk to her and see what we can do to adjust my schedule back to days, where it should of been, since I've been with the company for 8 years!! Anyways enough complaining. Aden's been picking up words like crazy... he will now say sponge bob, no no and buzz although it sounds like uz he is starting to talk alot more!! I'm so blessed to have the cutest little boy and the most amazing husband!! We've been together 8 years and in 2 weeks we will be married for 4 years!! It goes so fast!! I'm defiantly blessed! :)

things go on...

It's been a tough week. I had an emotional melt down at work and they sent me home. So I came home and cried for about 2 hours, before I went and picked Aden up. I'm not sure what brought on the melt down, but everything flooded my head at once, and it overloaded and I couldn't take it anymore. I've been stressed lately because I've been working nights, so I didn't get to see Aden or Tony alot the last 2 weeks. And that was tough! Today is my grandma's birthday, RIP Grandma!! :( I wish she was hear, I would love to hear her voice again, and have another homemade pickle or some jam! She was always canning and it was always the best. :) She was simply delightful. This last week, I helped my sister out, with my cousin's kids, while she was in Illinois, spending last moments with Kode, and preparing stuff for the funeral. I give her made props, she had to do the hardest thing ever, and decided when to pull him off life support. :( Kode will truly be missed. :( RIP Kode!! And we both have a full week, this week as we have the Allen family reunion this weekend. Next weekend we have my parents company picnic and a wedding.

news....

Well we got news that Kode Ryan passed away @ 4:22 am on July 20, 2010. Were all very sad. Janelle finally got back there and the doctor talked to her about what was happening, and she got to spend a few hours with him. The doctors undid a machine one at a time, and he finally passed. And we know he is up in heaven with Grandpa kicking it!! God bless your soul Kode!! We love you and will miss you!!

vacation

Tony and I both took our vacation last week. We decided not to go any place special. We needed time together and to get stuff done around the house. We got the garage cleaned out in a day, made a trip to the dump and to drop used paint off. We also planed a trip to Lincoln City with my sister, her husband, and the 3 kiddo's. We had a blast, they played on the beach and in the water for hours!! It was a lot of fun!! Then Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, we went to La Pine for a weekend away from Aden, and we went 4 wheeling and camped, and the boys found a new camping spot for when they go hunting in the fall. It was hard for me to let Aden go, and stay with family for the 3 days, it's the most we have ever left him. When we did get cell service, we got up dates on how he was. We were going back to camp, from the play area for our 4 wheelers and we got pulled over by the sheriff. It was kinda of funny, they were doing random checks to make sure we all had current tags, and all that jazz. Well apparently some of the other guys didn't, and didn't have some new safety card. 2 of the boys were 16, and one didn't have either the safety card or a permit, and got away with just a warning!! The sheriff's were super awesome, and just gave the few with expired tags and no permits or safety cards a warning!! And we were on our way!! Aden was trying to help daddy in the yard, and bonked his self with a rake. Were not really sure how he did it or what happened. But he has a bruise on his left cheek down by his mouth, just a little one, chipped his front tooth, and scratched his skin by his right eye. We took him into an urgent care, to make sure his eye was okay, since we were leaving. They checked it out and put a dye in there, that would glow if it was scratched, and it was fine!!

We also came home Sunday to some bad news. My cousin who lives out here with us, her son Kode is on life support until she makes it there tonight, to see him. He's had a pretty rough time from the beginning. His dad smothered him to try and kill him, and they saved him. Ever since then he's had C.P. and has had numerous surgery's. He wasn't suppose to make it to see 5. He is now 13 years old!! He surpassed everything! He went in for some bleeding issues, and they opened him up, and noticed some of the organs weren't working. And put him on life support till Janelle, could get back there. They flew him from Chicago area up to Wisconsin. So now were just waiting for the news.... I could never imagine having to lose a child. I've had 2 miscarriages and that just tore my heart into pieces, but to have to go through what my cousin is going through, I don't think I could handle it. My heart and prayers are with them.

a scary moment

While I was at work today, I was there 4 hours. My manager walks up to me while I'm checking and says you've got an emergency phone call on line 1, go and take it and I will check for you. So as I'm walking over to customer service, which felt like it was five hundred feet away, I have so many things rushing through my head. Who died? Got an accident? What could it be, I swear I went through 1000 + things in my head. I pick up the phone it's Tony, my heart drops, I know it's Aden. I know it is. And well it was. He decided to get up on the dinning room table, while Tony was doing dishes. And got my little container of pills, that I refill for my use everyday, since I take so many vitamins and seizure meds. He had actual put a prenatal vitamin in his mouth and then spit it out, since it was in a gel form, and it was the DHA. Which wouldn't have hurt him. But my goodness, it gave me a heart attack!! He didn't end up taking anything or eating any of them. So we've now decided that I will keep them in a medicine bottle, so he can't get the cap off. And I have to keep it some where visible or I won't remember to take them. I have the worst memory ever! I'm so thankful that it wasn't anything worse!

Father's Day

Tony had to work on Father's day! Bummer, but he ended up getting off early. We had everyone over to our house, and we had a bbq. Angie and I made tons of kabob's the night before. Since last year, we were stuck in the kitchen and making them to order for everyone! So we though we would be smart and make them up the nite before, which was a great idea. It took us about 2 hours or so, to make all of them up. And Tony got a new weed whacker for father's day. He got it early, since our grass had grown so much, that our little push lawn mower couldn't handle it. lol!! But we had a great bbq, and all though it rained, we had a little canopy set up and Tony's dad brought over a tarp, and put it up across our deck, so we could bbq without getting wet, and that way we could sit up on the deck too!! The kids had a great time playing and running around!! Aden was a bit of a crabby butt, but I really think his molars are coming in. Heather and I went shopping that morning, which was great. I love spending time with her, since they don't live close anymore! :( All in all it was great day!!

a little bit of everything....

I decided Monday nite, that it was time to cut aden of the binkie! I put him to bed as usual, without the binkie. He cried for maybe 5 minutes, and he was out! Didn't wake up at all during the nite. He also woke up Tuesday morning, smiling and laughing! I loved it!! He did great all day Tuesday without it, all though nap time was a little more harder, he did finally get a nap! But I think we have successful have a grown baby boy! Who no longer depends on a bottle or binkie!! WOOHOO!! I've been wanting to get rid of it for so long, but Tony wanted him to have it, so he could still be our baby boy! On the other note, we went in for our evaluation results, regarding Aden's hearing. They did another hearing test on him, and he is much like Tony, he produces way to much wax, so they couldn't get a clear reading. So we took him back, and he passed!! He's not deaf!! He just doesn't want to talk! We did notice some other things, like he always has his mouth open, and he drools, but that's due to teething. And they are going to have a speech pathologist come and work with Aden twice a month, to see if we can start to get other sounds coming out of him. And in the Fall we are going to attend a workshop and it's "Too can Talk" and it will help us with out next baby and what we can do, early on, to help them with talking and having a conversation with them! It's a 10 week course, but they all said it is well worth it. So now we just have to get it off work, so we can go. I'm pretty excited about it. And we've decided to trade Tony's truck in, hopefully in the next couple months. It's not family friendly for us. Aden has to sit in the middle, the car seat won't fit on the side's comfortably. We're going to get something that can hold 6, if we need it too. I would love extra seats, but 6 would be fine. Just in case we have to travel with someone else, and are limited to cars, they can ride with us and have room!

Memorial Day Weekend/Birthday

We went camping for memorial day weekend. We had a blast and a relaxing time too. Friday it was horrible since it rained all day! When we got there, it had let up a bit, so we were getting unload and tents and the motor home parked. Aden ran through all the mud puddles he could, and tried to splash everyone he could! I didn't mind, knowing I had extra clothes, and it would be wet. He loved it, someone would say stay away from the puddle Aden, he would throw his hands in the hair and run for it as fast as he could! Saturday was nice, no rain, and we stayed outside by the campfire most of the day. We did make occasional trips to the playground and let him play. We also got him trucks, football and other toys to play with outside, so he was pretty occupied. Sunday was my birthday, and we had cupcakes to celebrate. :) I also got lucky enough, not to have to change Aden at all or really deal with him, it was nice, but I missed it. :( But I have him all week to myself! I need to back off, in a sense, and let other people help us. I don't want Aden to grow and think that his parents are the only ones he has, to talk to, or lean on. And that he has awesome family around that will do anything for him. :) So in all we had a great weekend! :)

why???

Aden goes for his "hearing test" on Thursday. The doc. just wants to make sure everything is good, although he does what he is told, most of the time. They are doing a bunch of different other test too, and it's an hour and a half! Wow, hopefully they can keep his focus. And for the most part its just because he isn't really talking. Of course he did everything late, rolling over, crawling, walking etc. So why should he be talking on time?
I've been down the last couple days, I'm not sure why, but am sure why. We've been trying to have our second baby now for 6 to 7 months! Everyone says the second one happens sooner! Really?! We tried for 2 years to get pregnant with Aden, and I've had 2 miscarriages! Talk about ripping someone's heart out!! I thought I'd never have kids, and when I was pregnant I was excited but not really, because there was always a thought I'd lose the baby anytime. So I didn't get excited until he was out and crying and I realized he was mine and OK. But it seems everyone else around me is pregnant or just had a baby, why can't I be? I really believe in everything happens for a reason and has a time, but I would like it to be now. :) I don't want our kids to be to far apart in age, in fact I wanted them 18 to 20 months apart. I'm super close to my sissy Heather and were 352 days apart, not even a year! And I loved that growing up, going through everything together, knowing I would have someone to lean on. And I have Tony to lean on now, but why? Not everyone gets where I'm coming from, and sometimes Tony doesn't either. Anyways enough blabbing about me, it's off to bed for work in the morning.

Mother's Day!!

Unfortunately Tony had to work a mid day shift. So it was Aden and me. It started out with Tony buying me breakfast from McDonald's and a Starbucks. (he tried) We had a quick breakfast together before he left for work. We then went to Dave and Angie's for a family bbq!! The weather was great, so Aden played with all the kids. He had a hard time keeping up with the older ones, he's got the shortest legs! But he did sleep in today!! :) We surprised my mother-in-law with a picture of all of us kids and grand kids!! She loved it!! We got my mom a bunch of tulips she can transplant if she wants! We will be bbq'ing with them on Saturday, along with our birthday's. (Since were all born in may!) All in all it was a great day, good food, visiting with family, and spending the evening with my 2 favorite boys!! Whom I love very much!! :)

a lit bit of this and that

I'm super excited for this week. Tony is actually working morning shifts, all but 2 days, which he has to close! :( But I'm excited to have evenings as a family! He has applied to Costco, since he can walk in as a PIC. I'm keeping my fingers crossed! One he will be 5 minutes from home, we will be saving a ton on gas. And he won't be having a flip flop schedule! And hopefully set days off. If all goes well he may be able to move up the ladder quicker and become a department head!! Which in turn, I wouldn't have to work, but I would a couple days a week, just to keep our insurance and pay off some debt. :)
Tony has meet with some lawyers on our "bathroom" issues, and it is going to come down to our decision on what to do. One says go ahead you have a case, the other says take them to small claims court. We decided to meet with our real estate people and get there take on it. We've also pondered giving them another chance and seeing actually how low we can get a bid for, if we do demolition and the sheet rock our selves. We watched a lot of DIY Network. And know that if you do a lot it will bring down the cost. So we will see what the decision comes down too. And we've decided that when we move again in 4 to 10 years, it will be back out to Estacada! I miss it, all our family and friends are out there. :) And all our babysitters!!

Beach!!

We went to Lincoln City this weekend, with Tony's parents and brother, wife and Kaylee!! We had a blast. Aden loved to run on the beach and play in the sand. The first day he wasn't that into though, and he didn't want to touch the sand. Today, our last day, of course he was into, picking it up and giving it to Either tony or me. And he just ran and ran!! We of course went and did some shopping, got Aden a few new summer outfits. Played domino's with the adults and just played around. We did take our time coming back though, we didn't rush, and even ate lunch at Mo's before leaving town. That was nice to, Aden had a full belly, and slept all the way to Woodburn, then we stopped and got ice cream, since it was so nice out! And it was warm in the car. All in all it was a great trip and a nice getaway!!

18 months!

Aden is 18 months!! Time has flown by!! We took him to his checkup today, he is 23 lbs and 30 1/4 inches tall!! Still has a big head! And everything looks good. The one thing the dr. was concerned about is, he isn't talking or saying as many words as he should be. He really only says, mama, dada, and owie. Once in awhile he will say Nana and papa. There going to send us for a hearing test, just to make sure all that is good. Although being a mom, it concerns me. He responds to everything we say, or have him do. Like telling him to get his shoes/coat so we can go bye-bye. And we have never talked baby talk to him, nor will we let anyone. so I'm hoping everything turns out just fine and he just starts talking away one of these days. We are going to get out flashcards and Tony's going to start working with him in the mornings, he's on vacation next week. :) Other than that we have a healthy and happy 18 month baby boy!!

Easter

This was Aden's second Easter, but technically the first one he will remember. We got him Elmo eggs and we put Teddy Graham's inside so they would make noise!! He had a blast looking for 6 Elmo eggs, I didn't hide them very hard. But we really didn't get him anything. We decided were going to the beach next weekend, we will get him a few special things there. We did go to my parents house and the kiddo's had an egg hunt there, and they each got money, which was awesome, so that will go into his account and he got a bunch of banana's. He was so excited for them too!! That boy loves his fruit!! Then we went to the Allen side, where he got a wheelbarrow. a hoe, shovel, and rake so he can help daddy in the yard!! And then we had a delicious ham dinner! :) All in all it was a busy day but a fun one!! Aden is now doing this weird thing where he will walk on his tippie toes, and has a limp to go with it. lol it's way to cute! And he's always hungry!! That boy is going to eat us out of this house!! I think he's going through a growing spert. I know he's lost some weight, cause his 18 month pants are too big on him now. I went out and bought him a belt. :)

rainy days

Oh how I love Oregon but hate the rain! I want some sunshine! I can't believe Aden is 18 months today! Time flies so fast! He loves to read books and tear out the towels! He's also discovered that he can stand on his rocking horse, 4 wheeler, or John Deere Tractor and climb onto things, such as the couch, chaise, and his toy box. He is so full of energy. :) Tony and I have been together for 8 years!! Married for 3 1/2, whew but he's the love of my life!! He is really thinking about being a cop, but I'm not so found of the idea. I know he should do what he wants, but I just can't think of something happening to him, and I'm all alone to raise our kids. I'm just not sure of what I should do. I do know that he needs to talk to someone to see what he needs to do, to start pursing it, if that's what he wants to do. I'm so excited in April we are taking a family (Allen side) trip to the beach! His parents, brother, and wife and daughter, and us!! A weekend away, and with the family should do us some good. We need some good laughs. We've been stressed with money, and doing the bathroom, contacting lawyers. Urg, the list never ends, but this is just a speed bump in the road, we can get over this and we will.

it's been a while...

Aden is getting so smart and soo big really fast!! He knows where to put his toys, find his shoes, get his snacks! He is such a joy to have! He has discovered that he can now climb on the couch by himself, which could be scary! And he's becoming very vocal! Where now quite sure what he's saying, but one day we will. And he got his first haircut! We just trimmed very little off the top and made it even on the bottom. And he did amazing! Sat there the whole time, while nana trimmed his hair.
Tony and I are doing great. Working and watching Aden that's our life. We just got a treadmill from our parents, so I can start walking/running now. It's hard to do with Aden and Chewy! But I'm determined to make it work. We finally got our car back, it's so hard to have one vehicle when we both work either the same shift or overlap a few hours. I don't like to have to relay on other people, I just feel like a burden to them, even though I know I'm not. We do plan on adding another baby to our family sometime within the next year or so. But it is harder for me to get pregnant than most, due to my seizure medication and the fact that I've had 2 miscarriages. (Which I would never wish upon my enemy!). It's a horrible feeling. Other than that, I'm just trying to get into shape and more fit. :)

birthday/valentines

Tony's birthday was friday. It started out great, he went to the chiropractor and got his neck and back adjusted. Aden and I ran a few errands here in town, and got a short nap in. On Tony's way back home the car died. So we then knew we wouldn't be able to make it to the movies. Bummer, we were both excited about seeing Avatar. Another time I guess. So we had my dad tow it to the mechanic and realize that the timing belt, waterpump and something else went out. If you have a kia, get it changed often!! We had no idea. so our plans changed for his birthday, our cousins kept Aden for us, while we went out for dinner, which was nice, since we were both stressed out! We went to LittleCooperstown in Oregon City. Excellent food!! :) So needless to say Tony didn't have a good birthday.

Valentine's day was just another day for us. We both worked, as usual. We don't need a speical holiday to say I love you, or get each other anything. Plus with the car being fixed, we don't have the funds for silly things. So tony and Aden picked me up from work, and I got to come home and take a nice hot bath, to help releive some back pain. and they made dinner. We had a lemon garlic tenderloin (first time), and it was yummy!! ALong with some noodles and fresh asapargus!! It was yummy, and Aden loved everything!! I"m so thankful he isn't picky about food, he loves everything from any fruit to veggies including beets!! :) I have the best little boy ever!! :)

new year

We have a new addition to our family!! Brandy had a baby girl Jan. 7, 2010! Adyson Rayne (rain) 6lbs 3 oz 18 inches. She is a doll!! Things are going good for us, just working and spending time with Aden. :) He is getting smarter all the time. He now walks everywhere!! He tries to say Chewy but ah it comes out some baby talk! LOL The last couple nights he's been having a hard time, staying asleep when we put him in his crib, he screams bloody murder! The other night it was 2 hours straight, I was so exhausted, I tried everything, I could think of. Whew what a night. On the other hand, Tony and I have decided that once a week or every 2 weeks, we are going to have someone watch Aden, so we can have time to our selves, which we need, since we never see each other! Opposite shifts is hard, but it's working. We haven't had to pay for a babysitter yet, and I don't want to put him in childcare. Happy New years!!
