baby update

We had our 3 ultrasound and everything looks good with baby!! They thought the arms were short, my doc. though the legs were short, but after looking at the reports, everything looks good. We really won't know until the baby is here!! So until then, we just keep chugging along. :) And I keep saying, God won't give us anything we can't handle. I'm feeling really good, just super duper tired!! I nap almost everyday now, that I can. And we have such a busy week ahead of us. First working in grocery, this week and next are going to be busy for us, as customers get ready for the holidays. Saturday were going to my parents work for a Christmas party and to see Santa. And that evening were going to do zoo lights or PIR with Tony's family and brother and sister in law. Tuesday Aden has therapy and were decorating sugar cookies with my nieces and nephews. And then we have to get ready for Christmas. We don't ever do alot of gifts for Aden, because we want him to know the REAL meaning of Christmas. This year he is getting a tricycle, lunch box, water bottle, and cars from us. And then whatever else nana & papa, and grandma and grandpa get him. We try and keep it simple since it's such a hectic day for us. Going from our house, to great grandmas, to my parents. It's along day but so worth it. To be able to spend time with all our families. :)

ultrasound # 3

We went to Emmanuel for our third ultrasound, my last one showed that the femur bones weren't were they should be, growing wise. They did all the anatomy and did some extra pictures too. And we still didn't find out what it was!! For those that don't know, we want to keep it a surprise!! And the dr. came in and talked to us, everything looks okay, structurally except the arms. The head is measuring different and the arms aren't in accordance with that. They have an average that they go off of, and the head and the arms should be in somewhat of a same growth. Instead of having a 1 in 1000 chance of our baby having down syndrome, our chances are now 2 in 1000. Even though they did the blood draw and it came back negative. Our other option is to have an amniocentesis done, if we want to know for sure. And we both agreed, as long as the baby looks structurally good, then were okay with not doing it. And we both said, that God isn't going to give us anything we can't handle. And well Aden had a big head when he was born, so it could be that this baby is following in his big brother's footsteps. :)
Today was a busy day for us. We had our ultrasound this morning. And then we went into Estacada and got a permit and went up Hilllockburn to get our Christmas tree!! That was an adventure! We got almost to the top and we hit ice and snow, and decided to turn around. I'm not found of ice and Tony doesn't like driving in it or on it. And we ended up getting a "charlie brown" looking tree. :) And then after we got home, we meet my parents to get Aden some clothes for Christmas, there treat, that way he was getting what he needed. And we did some shopping and then we went to the mall to do some more Christmas shopping and to look for some shirts for our Christmas pictures. And we grabbed dinner on the way home, and came home and relaxed. Now I'm off to bed, because I'm exhausted!! Whew to much to do in one day. And tomorrow I have a doctor's appointment and then it's a lazy day!! :)
