beach getaway

We went to Lincoln City over the weekend, with Tony's parents and cousins. We took our time getting there, since we got lost, and took the wrong exit. And we've been there a hundred times. I kept telling Tony we were on an adventure. We did get there about 2ish. We stayed in a house on the bay, and when we got there we went and played on the bay with Aden. There was no wind, or rain. So we played for over an hour. And we ended up having a fire and roasting hot dogs for dinner. The next day wasn't so nice, there was rain and wind!! So we relaxed and did some shopping and went to an antique mall. It was Tony's birthday, so when we had lunch at Mo's they brought him ice cream, and we all shared it. :) Aden especially liked that! We played some games, and relaxed and Aden loved having all the attention he wanted, when he needed it. Aden also had a first, he got to sleep in his new sleeping bag on the floor. He did awesome! Although he did move all over which is common for him. When we got home Sunday and did some grocery shopping, we put the new crib up. Aden thought it was his new bed. We are slowly but surely getting the next room ready. We have 8 weeks left, and I'm counting down!! Everything seems to be looking good! I'm still measuring a week behind, and the baby's heart rate seems to still be in the 150's and up! I'm ready to see what's cooking in there!! :)

updates....

wow it's been awhile. For the most part I'm feeling pretty good. 9 weeks left!! I learned that my blood sugar is really low, which causes me to get nausea's and feel like I'm gonna pass out. Which I've been feeling lately. This pregnancy is so different than Aden's. I was able to enjoy the last 2 trimesters, and this one it seems like I'm sick, or throwing up at least once a week, which isn't so fun. We ordered crib #2 and it should be here any day, and we've almost got the spare room cleaned out, so we can get it ready for baby, and pull out all the neutral clothes.
Aden is doing excellent with his speech therapy! He is now putting 2 words together, and we can understand him better when he asks for something!! :) In April we are gonna go from twice a month to once a month. Which will be helpful for us, with the new baby. His speech therapist even told us, if we have him evaluated again, he wouldn't qualify anymore, because of all his progress!! Which makes us soooo happy. But it's our choice when we want to do that. But for now were gonna keep going with it.
